Maxwell’s First Birthday

A month later, but I am finally posting some of my favorite photographs from Max’s first birthday. We kept it at our apartment, with my mom, my brother, and Matt’s mom and dad. I made a casserole, made a funfetti cake (hoping to make this a tradition for every birthday), and rearranged our living room to make it a little more Max friendly while keeping a place for family to sit and relax. It was simple, and just what we had hoped for. Obviously, we would have loved to do our original plan of a park party, but with Covid19 numbers rising, it didn’t feel like the responsible thing to do. I would loved to have been able to have a big first birthday party with all of our friends and family, but again, just didn’t feel like the safe or responsible thing to do.

This post is merely just a photo roundup, which I think I will be doing more of these. Sometimes I don’t have words to what I want to say, but want to share memories or photographs that we take. I don’t know who actually reads this or who actually scrolls through the photos, but thank you. Thanks for taking the time to see what I share. 🙂 It means a lot to me.
